Prison should be a last resort, plus there’s a sliding scale of criminality. By this logic if you kill 60 people you go prison, if you jaywalk you go to prison. Prison is a massive strain on society, it destroys people and just increases their criminality one way or another. It does not, and never has, rehabilitated them and made them functional members of society

I noticed female Gypsy children are doing more pickpocketing than the boys. Presumably because the boys who did it were probably kicked or punched but the little girls didn't get discipline when caught.

While I agree that justice should be blind to gender/sex/whatever, always remember that you are guilty, too, whether you know it or not.

I love how under the pictures they keep saying "West, along with husband Fred...." Sure, she killed a bunch of people, but there was a MAN involved in it too!
