Quick story-

I'm an American that has been living in Europe for a number of years, which is relevant only in the sense that I know metric and imperial units.

One of my buddies was texting with a girl from back in the states, a mutual acquaintance of ours who was married last July.

He turns to me and asks "How much is 25 lbs?"

I ask "In what context?"

He says "She just told me she has gained 25 lbs since the wedding"
