I am in a similar position (won't say which). My question is what to do about inflation? I'm pretty sure the various governments of the world won't stop expanding debt and printing more money to buy votes.

My grand father was wiped out by hyperinflation in Hungary 70 years ago.

My dad was super wary too. He always says that your money halves in value (purchasing power) every 10-15 years no matter what bullshit inflation figure the government publishes.

I can see and feel it myself as I have to go buy groceries more often as companies shrink packet sizes.

I have some gold, some real estate and that's about it.

So what's your inflation proofing plan?
