As a preface, I try not to read too much into media outlets because of bias, so I just wanted to do some of my own digging.

The article I read was on The Rooster (some site I've never used, just noticed it in a feed, but I haven't heard good things about them, hence me wanting to ask you lot instead.)

At first the article seemed indifferent, even with the title. Then it kind of seemed to polarise against MGTOW.

Anyway, to me it seems like a lot of MGTOW, at least online, is kind of a joke (I don't mean this in an offensive way, correct me if im wrong), serious in practicality but... put across in an almost comedic way. I think its a good thing though, for men, women and in general, people, to try and be self-sufficient.

I'm just curious as to what its like, being a part of it. I'm a woman, so by definition, I could never be.

I agree with a lot of it though, growing up I lived in a house full of boys, except for my father (a man, not a boy) and my mother; a physically abusive, emotionally abusive, pig of a person. I do my best not to be like her. I'd say I have more respect for men than I do most women.

My questions are : Is AWALT a genuine belief? Despite not wanting to be tied down with a woman, do you still want children? Thoughts on the Nuclear Family? Do you think the pushing for gender equality is going, or has gone overboard? Do you like offending people?
