I think we should have given the entire institution of marriage over to the homosexual folks and let them figure it out. Clearly heteros have made a clusterfucking legal mess out of it.

There wouldn't be a difference since all marriages in Australia are technically common law marriages. The only thing that made this an issue was an amendment to the marriage act in 2004 that made marriage specifically between "one man and one woman."

I mean that on a legal level. Of course, you're going to have other issues to deal with that are more social (as in sjw's not knowing who should be fucked over since you gotta protect women but you also have to protect the lbgtqwhatever folk as well) than legal, but shrugs

in the US, half of all hetero marriages end in divorce, 70% filed by the woman and 80% of those are no fault, which means he didn't do shit... she was just unhappy. now replace the guy with another woman and the lesbian divorce rate is nearly 100% (nearly every lesbian marriage ends in divorce). and when lesbians divorce, it's fucking vicious. they have more domestic violence than men-on-woman, woman-on-man, and man-on-man relationships combined.

we've also had plenty of posts here talking about how both women try to get alimony from the other on divorce. and it's even crazier when talking about custody and child support. the domestic violence claims skyrocket as they use it as a weapon to get custody... because along with custody comes child support and "single mother" status which gets them a ton of state benefits.

there have even been a few cases where they tried to go after the sperm donor.
