In spite of what people say about the rise of socialism, it is not true. Capitalism rules the world. Government workers simply work for those who own capital. Capital is the "means of production." It is whatever makes money. We are all born with human capital i.e. our skills and ability to work and earn a salary from it. Women are also born with human capital but also have an abundance of "erotic capital" (also known as sexual capital) whose value peaks at 25 and rapidly depreciates thereafter. When men and women enter life, they face the challenge of working so that they can convert human capital and erotic capital into cash.

Human capital and erotic capital is different from other types of capital e.g. financial capital (e.g. stocks and bonds) in that work is required to convert the human or erotic capital into cash. Financial capital is different because e.g. you can own stocks and bonds, do nothing, and receive income from it. However, to derive with human capital (e.g. skills), you must work. To derive income from erotic capital (your good looks), you must become a prostitute or you must marry. Let us call the type of capital that is dependent on work "dependent capital" (human and erotic capital) and the type of capital that does not require work "independent capital" (stocks, bonds, ETFs, etc).

Marriage is a form of independent capital for women. Because women's erotic capital depreciates rapidly in their twenties, they need to make up for this loss of erotic capital (also known as SMV) through marriage as marriage is a form of independent capital that allows them to harvest income from men. Just as a business produces profit for an owner with input of labor from workers so too marriage produces profit for women with input of labor from men. The problem is that while businesses pay workers cash, which can be used to purchase independent capital (e.g. shares), marriage pays men in sexual services, which cannot be converted at all. If a man receives money from working, he can buy stocks or bonds, which provides him access to a system that exploits others thereby enabling him to gain more freedom. If a man receives sexual services from a woman, he loses cash and the sexual services he receives cannot be converted into anything. In other words, marriage and men's desire for sex is what keeps men poor and enslaved, and this has been happening since the dawn of humanity.
