Guys, first post here, i am not a MGTOW fan but do understand that, there is always two faces of a coin. This story is of an uncle, who got married (not for love) at age 32, he worked hard to earn money in order to own his own house and marriage expenses and some money for the bad times, some times he used to work 14 hours a day just to make over time money. Now this lady who he was married to, was from a low income family but they were known to be decent, we know them through some relatives, their family stays very far off, we did not even visit that place. Anyhow, everything was fixed, marriage done, it was kinda ok until 3 years, she too in that year, i guess something was already in the works , now the uncles wife and her family are getting little ambitious, they made uncle spend for their vacations and bought them gifts, that was fine but later uncle started depositing his money to his wife account, still ok, they are married and she left her job and now pregnant. after the 3rd year some difference occured, uncle said he will leave his job and rest for some time as he was tired working and he was working abroad so naturally he was homesick, guess his wife and her family were not happy since he will not keep his job and hence no monies for now. So what happened was my uncle's wife also was a pathological liar, used to lie about everything and for no reason. I fought with her that year too, she came to my house had some argument, next day came to visit, i kicked her out of my gate once(talk only). Anyhow, some months passed, she said she will go to her mother's house for the last few months and upon delivery as per tradition. she went packed ton of things as if she will never return, dropped her at the train station.... few months baby girl is born... also one more surprise.. we got a court case on our entire family put up by uncle's wife and her family stating we harassed her and asked her for money and so on... we were shocked about this, my uncle left his job immediately and came back home, later came to know that she transferred nearly 50% of uncle money from his account to her own since uncle account had two operators, uncle and his wife. she also bought a car with uncle's money... two years on case still raged on.. uncle claimed bankruptcy and said he didnt have alimony money and she stole his money and going to counter fraud case against her, sensing trouble wife said she will sign divorce papers and remove the case against our family. Uncle signed divorce papers and case was closed, now his ex-wife has full custody of the baby. Its been 3 years now, uncle has not gone back to his old place of work and now working as a fisherman with half his money gone. So, its such a sad story everything was going fine and now this happened. So i don't have any moral of story now, shit happens, this could happen to any man and destroy his life. I respect my uncle because this is the worst time in mans life, he could have sunk into total depression and even suicide but still he was strong and now still strong, rebuilding his life.

tl;dr: Uncle marries, everything goes fine, wife pregnant, her family is greedy, files fake harassment case against uncle and family, after two years, case settled with divorce, ex-wife keeps the baby, uncle loses his job, money and family. Uncle is struggling but still strong rebuilding.
