We all know that there are stark differences between men and women. In this informative presentation, Steven Pinker, Johnstone Family Professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University CV Here discusses the various differences between the two, that's two-- yes, two genders.

He discusses five major differences:

1 - life priorities: Men on average chase status at the expensve of family

2 - People vs. Things/Systems: he analyzes trends in academic and work interests

3 - Risk: Men are more reckless, including "intellectual-risk taking" and "participation in risky experiment"

4 - 3D Mental transformations: The ability to accurately conceive the same shape from different perspectives

5 - Mathematical Reasoning: this extends to mathematical and scientific accomplishments, where the greatest achivements have been unlocked virtually entirely by men. He also discusses variation in distributions of intelligence levels

He then discusses whether or not and to what degree these differences are the result of nature (innate) or nurture (social conditioning).
