The comments to the article are hilarious - anyway great find! I 100% agree - with that I'd like to add that the whole process of transition is a farce. No one can really change sex. You can surgically make it sorta look like it. Talented surgeon can make it really believable but ... your DNA still says the same thing. Also - good luck being on hormone therapy your ENTIRE life - not to mention plethora of side effects associated with those. The truth is there's money to be made here so why not do it - push complicated therapies onto unsuspecting plebs. Wouldn't it be much much simpler and cheaper to devise a therapy to match their physical sex with their gender? I mean that's just common sense.

Transgender politics have taken Americans by surprise, and caught some lawmakers off guard.

-- I don't know why they (or anyone) should be "surprised"... the left has been TELEGRAPHING that this (pushing "transgender") was "next" for decades... at least since they added the "T" to the LGBTQBBQ acronym (and IIRC, the"T: was added 20+ almost 30 years ago).

-- And IMO one has to be incredibly... well naive doesn't cover it... I guess... blindered, stupified & gullible might do...

-- One has to have been incredibly naive, and blindered, stupified & SUPREMELY gullible to have NOT comprehended that the chief TARGET all of the LGBTQBBQ propaganda (and thus "Transgenderism" as well) is and has always been: Children (meaning mainly of course OTHER people's children -- as pretty much by definition -- LGBTQBBQ'ers are NOT much interested in "procreation" themselves, their only way of expanding their numbers is indoctrination & proselytization*).

-- Nor should the GOAL of the present two-"theater" battle FOR transgenderism be any surprise; each has it's own distinct (and blatantly OBVIOUS) goal:

The push for "inclusion" of Transgenderism in the Military, is most certainly not about "girly-men" and "manly-chicks" wanting to "fight to defend their nation" -- not in the least -- instead this is ALL about getting "Transitioning 'treatment' expenses" covered by the government, so that it can be asserted as a "right" of everyone (i.e. if military "health care" [sic] covers it, then it can be implied & court-forced for other "health care" insurance programs to likewise cover it).
The push of Transgender crap onto children -- and getting the conceptual idea that young children (now down to the age ranges of toddlers!) have the capacity to "DECIDE" (not merely "consent" but CHOOSE: and entirely, blatantly ignoring the "indoctrination" by parents/others) to undergo "transitioning" -- well the end goal of that is to basically establish that such young children have the (legal) ability to DECIDE a host of other things... including when, whether to engage in sex with adults. Thus the goal -- the next stage -- is open pederasty (even of toddlers) -- asserted as a "RIGHT" of children. This is no "slippery slope" fallacy it is the INEVITABLE process of "fabian" gradualism, shifting the Overton window so that what was once absurd/perverse becomes accepted as the norm.**

* Not that "proselytizing" (or indeed "indoctrination" of youth) should be any shock either... it's how (with very few exceptions, and only a few other options) virtually ALL "ideologies" are spread & promoted -- it is indeed the entire purpose of "schools."

** And if you think THAT is a ridiculous "stretch" -- consider for a moment which is actually MORE "perverse":

A) children being "sexually" active (at least partially in line with their own "natural" actual genitalia); or
B) children permanently altering their body via vast injections of hormones (in direct opposition to their "natural" genitalia & biological gender) and potentially undergoing -- in essence -- gross (large scale) surgical "genital mutilation" of their body (including CHOOSING not merely "circumcision" but full castration {& insane degrees of penile mutilation} by "males" -- and what is in essence a "full hysterectomy" and far beyond "female genital mutilation" {constructing an essentially useless, no-functional, non-engorging, "faux-penis"} by "females").

This is "Overton" window stuff if there ever was any... if you can be indoctrinated/persuaded to accept the essentially PERMANENT scenario (B) above as "normal" (or "acceptable" or even as NOT insane criminal "child abuse")... then quite frankly scenario (A) will seem rather trivially "tame" by comparison (and people WILL argue that if you find (A) to be gross, well that's just YOUR problem -- it's your "traditional obsolete/archaic 'morality'" which you probably got from some "dusty old books" or from some mythological "sky faerie").
