This topic stems off of a situation I was nearly put in that happened today within my apartment complex.

I headed out into the hallway to catch the elevator and at the opposite end was a man who was walking out of his apartment. His wife follows suit (with another female) and is yelling and screaming at him in their language (I believe they are middle eastern). He says to me: You see what I have to put up with? She then proceeds to grab him by the scuff of his shirt and starts slapping him in the face and kicking him.

My first instinct was to call the cops but instead I went back into my apartment and got my dad just in case shit went south. He kept his cool though. She then started ripping hair out of his head while throwing him around. A couple of neighbours came out and told them to shut the fuck up and went back into their apartments. No one did anything about the dude being beat (including myself) but if it was him beating her the white knights would've jumped to the rescue (I still would've just kept to the sidelines).

I myself didn't intervene because within a situation like that, anything could've happened but I was a tad worried that he would hit her. Not because she didn't deserve it but because of the consequences he would face if he did so (She would've gotten away with it and he would've been hauled off to jail. If I would've called the cops it probably would've happened that way as well which is why I didn't call them. The blue pill thinking still lingers I guess).

This is the kind of shit that lead me towards the MGTOW path. I would have never been able to keep myself calm within that situation and I most likely would've hip tossed her to the ground lol but again I would've been charged and hauled off to jail.

I had a conversation with the guy who runs the store in my area about it later on. His response was: He must've done something to deserve it and I called bullshit on that. No one deserves that shit. I said imagine if the roles were reversed. Would you still think she deserved it? He had no answer. I then said: If it's not okay for us to hit them, they should not be able to hit us. He said: But it's a woman's world my friend and we're just living in it. That statement made me angry and sad at the same time because it's true.
