Went on a 90s video binge on YouTube and watched Fiona Apple's hit video. I remember this video repulsed me when it came out while I was an adolescent. Although the setting feels dirty and sleazy it has an interesting message not found in most of the vapid ego-centric, sex-fueled videos female "musicians" put out today. They can learn I thing or two from this Gen-Xer.

This should be a mandatory screening in Gender/Feminist studies courses. Millennial women really do need to "suffer for their sins." I like how the message of this song is regret and accountability.
