I think I've been redpilled for a while now, although I just found out about this sub recently. I actually used to think that I had the unique idea that females only seeked to gain for themselves, and that the rest of the populous was blind to it. It's good to know that there are some likeminded "MGTOW" that have come to the same conclusion I have. However, I don't want it to seem like I'm bitter, far from it actually...

When I was younger and naïve, I used to think "I want a girl with skills and talents on par with mine so we can build an empire together". At face value, it sounds pretty good tbh. Companionship, prosperity, pretty much all the best things that life has to offer. After thinking more and more about my little 'dream', I came to realize that women don't want to be 50:50 with you. An equality of power and responsibility is the LAST thing they want, because then there's a benchmark for how things should be divvied up. If that doesn't make sense yet, hang in there...

Women would rather be 25:75 or 75:25 because it gives them clear exit strategies. If they hold 25% of the power in this figurative relationship, then they can play the 'weakness' card and take you for the other 25% in the court of law. If they hold the 75%, you already lost. Might as well pack your bags and start searching elsewhere. (Of course, if you disagree with this line of thinking, that's fine and it's totally within your right to think so.)

I don't think it always was this way. Social media has played a huge part in this overall 'bluepill/redpill' mindset. One of the biggest lightbulbs for me was seeing sites like instagram, twitter and snapchat for what they are. The easiest and most obvious is instagram, so I'll use that as my example:

The 'bluepilled' individual would say that looks aren't a factor in seeking a partner. However, every girl on instagram doesn't have a perfect 1:1 following/follower ratio. Aside from a few outlying factors, if looks weren't important, wouldn't all the ratios be close to 1:1. However, you can take a look at that smokeshow from your hometown, and I'd bet hers looks more like 300/3000, a 1:10 ratio, if not even more lopsided.

Social media has taught the current generation that you should ALWAYS have more guys on deck than you're currently pursuing. In the future, I would like to see more studies being done on this, since the phenomena is still developing and all of it is relatively new.

I hope you enjoyed the read and I would encourage some discussion in the comments, since this is something I give a decent amount of thought to when I let my mind wander.
