I lived out that scene with both wives.

Wife number 2 most vividly.

We were married just 8 months but hadnt fucked in weeks, bordering 6 weeks if i recall correctly. I was tired of her putting me off and so i felt bold and daring. Put on some porn on my phone and went at it. She woke up. She made a scene and stormed out and slept in her car. While I busted a nut, and slept like a king, in what was my king sized bed. It was then, she came back the next night, and gave me an ultimatum, that put us directly on the path to the end of us. She demanded I never do that again.

I felt like King Osric from the first Conan movie, 'what outrage! Threatening me, the king!' She had a shouting match, while I spoke to her firmly, that she gave no fucks about sex and I did. Also, I decided to be a right wing conservative at that moment and told her I don't give into terrorist demands. This same argument 4 months later and her resulting violence would end it all, but not before she did a bunch of stupid shit along the way to really make me just say, fuck it.

With wife number 1, we hadnt screwed in years, she was mad, but I told her, who gives a shit? Not I.
