I ran into a lady I used to know the other day. She is married and has a ton of kids, like 4 or more. When I used to know her she hadn't worked in 10+ years. She was a stay at home mom who was studying to become a nurse. Her husband was a good guy and he provided for her and the family.

I ran into her in the liquor store. I asked her if she was still studying and she told me that she'd now finished the course and was working at the hospital here in our city. Then she says this shit:

"I'm just here picking up a case of beer for my husband. Can you believe it! I finally start working and he wants me to buy him a case of beer every week! That's my money"

So she's totally cool with him providing for her for 10+ years and spending his hard earned... but now she's finally bringing in some coin she doesn't want to spend 30 bucks on beer for him. What a cunt! I wouldn't be surprised if next time I ran into her that the marriage is rocky and she's considering leaving because she's "not happy".

So a girl that used to work for me is as close to a unicorn as possible. Religious, 8/10, seemed loyal to her husband, not really much drama. Hung out with her and her husband a bit. Even on beach trips this girl wore one of the turn of the century bathing suits with a skirt down to the knees. She was really big on 'modest dress.'

The husband was a former Chad. These two met in bible college, and I'm pretty sure he was the first dude to get in her pants. They married young, and had been together roughly ten years when she started working for me. In that time Chad had never held a job for more than a couple of days. Unicorn girl was 100% the family breadwinner.

She also had a friend who was 100% typical party whore. Frequent one night stands, lots of cheating, switched boyfriends frequently. Unicorn girl would usually make comments behind her back about 'how are we going to get her back on track?' and 'what can we do to get her back to the Lords plan for her?' Also her legal name could 100% pass for a stripper name.

So stripper name sensed the wall approaching and landed a whale. She married an investment banker. Apparently he's well off. Stripper brought Unicorn and Chad up to this guys 'Long Island Estate' to give unicorn girl the middle finger.

Then AWALT kicked in. From what I am told unicorn girl scrubbed her social media of anything to do with the husband, and was posting stuff where she dressed more provocatively. Eventually Chad got put out of the house. Also eventually I got a call from this girl, which turned into the most sophomoric pass a girls ever made at me. Laughed about it with a co-worker only to find she'd done the same with several other co-workers.

Bottom line is that she figured out that she was the ATM, and that didn't sit well with her. Also amazing to see just how fast they can discard 'deeply held' beliefs when it suits.
