This is an interesting topic ,I assume based on history ,religion and culture, in the west we have given women some sort of 'moral high ground ', ie: The damsel in distress , I suppose children are given this same privilege until they grow up . Ie: A 12 year old boy would not 'know any better' compared to a 25 year old man.

So here is the problem and I think it reflects in many court rulings whereby women are given lenient sentences , they seem to be given less 'responsibility or should i say accountability for their actions and held on a false moral high ground.

Now as I say this, there is absolute polar opposite in Islam, women are seen as dirty and morally inferior. I think they are probably closer to the truth on the latter. But then again they have gone off the deep end and are very misogynistic .

I think society needs to be controlled by men ,men of strong conviction and ethics and women should follow and complement ( but not be utterly subservient) .

But it seems like some sort of ' abstract utopia', that may exists in certain countries or periods in history. I think there is and probably always was this gender power struggle, but where we are right now is where civilization begins to buckle, crack and collapse.
