I give you a simple example. I worked at this chinese company and my co-worker/superior was a chinese girl about my age. We worked together and hung out since we were the same age. A year ago I was going through a bit of a rough patch and I was general speaking not overly productive. Suddenly she cuts me off. Just deletes from WeChat (Chinese messenger). I wrote her a few times "sorry if I did something wrong" but having read a few red pill books, I knew it was because I appeared "weak". Fast forward 6 months, she suddenly shows up on a facebook again. She apologized and I though okay no problem. So we talk for 3 months or so and again another rough patch hit in terms of money/college. I was a bit low on friends and not quite resilient so I did the same thing again and appeared weak. Guess what happens? Deleted again. This kind of thing happened a few times through the years. There are exceptions, but this is the majority of "friends", even males. What is the moral of this story? Mhh, I guess friends are more of a temporary companionship thing. Superficial, for fun. Nothing serious. And of course, unless you're doing good in terms of money, health etc people seem to avoid you. Putting on a good show is not always so easy in rougher times. Perhaps, it's like the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Something like that.
