Here's the deal. I'm new here, not exactly MGTOW, I'm interested in men's issues and have been since college (my honors thesis was on how to facilitate better involvement of noncustodial fathers in their children's lives), I drifted away from these issues in grad school, completed my PhD in clinical psychology, and now I work as a clinical psychologist. I've done a lot of research and published in scientific literature (mostly on experimental cognitive psychopathology). While I'm not in an academic position right now I am actively pursuing one and have some prospects on the horizon. My personal and very much ongoing negative interpersonal issues (read: six kids with crazy - I know, gimme a break) as well as my interest in men's issues generally have lead me here. I get what most of you are saying (barring maybe the purposefully bombastic among you) and I'm coming-around in many ways. The data presented in Red Pill are great and helpful, but, I need more than descriptive statistics and anecdotes. I'm familiar with Briffault's Law (Jesus Christ, am I familiar with it). However, there hasn't been much experimental work with this sociological construct, as far as I can tell (I haven't looked long). My question for you nerds is this: are there people doing any solid research on the issues of concern to you guys and if so, who is doing it and where are they doing it? I'm continuing in my own research on this but I wanted to introduce myself and ask you experts before I go and reinvent the wheel. Thanks in advance.
