Loneliness is a state of mind. If you do not love and accept yourself you will not be happy in your own presence. You will not enjoy being around yourself. That is what you need to work on first because If you do not love and respect yourself first then how will anybody else love and respect you?

This sounds cheesy but if anyone in the entire universe deserves your love it would be you, yourself first.

Only then will you obtain successful relationship with other people and you can grow your friendships in positive directions or never seek those bonds because youre already happy in your path.

Can you say out loud right now "I love myself"? Not just say it but feel it?

If you can't then you need to have self focus in life right now. Work on self Improvements and your spiritual growth. You're not you're body, you are your mind and this body is just a tool to express your mind.

Make some friends. Start some hobbies that interest you. Do things you enjoy doing.

Get comfortable living alone, but I'd advise making some close male friends. You need close male friends to handshake, high five, and all that shit. People go crazy without that contact.

There's no guarantee that your wife/kids would be there for you when you are old. They might despise you, and make your life a living hell.

Also, with all this great technology how the hell can you be lonely when your old? The VR technology kicks ass today, just imagine the sex robots that your wife wouldn't want you to have?

Lastly, you are the only one that experiences your own death. You need to learn to love yourself, because you happened to be born with your mind and body and have only one life.

Family is not a guarantee of curing loneliness, though it should keep you busy. If it's just activity you need then look further into your interests, pursue a career or hobbies along these lines.
