I dunno about that.

First. He should have let his wife DIE. PERIOD. Thus, he is not redpill. No sir, he's not.

He's purple at best, blue at worst, at least in episode 1.

The wife punches him square in the mouth after he tells her, "the satisfying sound of your lover smacking the pavement is the only thing that gets me to sleep every night".

(First he should have blocked, but if not) He should have decked her, the cheating bitch, the fuck out like a man, and I mean knock her clean out.

And then, pissed on her, while she was out cold.

Then, she'd know where she stood with him, once she woke.

No woman, has the right to hit a man, for merely uttering the truth. And a wife, even less so, if the man is her husband.

But wives shouldn't cheat, but that little wet space between their legs, just gets so gosh darn slippery, it's easy to part them legs, easier than when Moses parted the Red Sea.

I am watching it right now and I had to turn it off. It's trying so hard to be the new Breaking Bad and it completely misses the mark.

The wife is a cheating whore, steals the money he put in their life savings, goes to her lover and gets caught by the cartel. No consequences. Husband begs for their lives and moves them to new town where she gets - SURPRISE! - a career which she is strong and independent enough to walk into a room and get one even though the guy wasn't looking to hire.
As soon as they get out of town, the wife slaps her husband in the car for speaking ill about her affair with the now-dead Chad after hubby saves her for being murdered right along with him. She also says cheating is not such a big deal because everybody does it, and her hardworking sexless betaslave had a little something to do with her finding another man to fulfill her needs.
Husband is a "nice guy" who launders money for drug cartel to keep his stay home wife and kids in comfort and luxury. Gets out of town tries to drum up clients, gets laughed out when one of the guys he tried to sign up sees him filling gas (or something)
Whores have ultimate power. A woman can get anything done by offering to strip at a club, suck a guy's dick or the like. One low class trashy girl had to suck a dick to get a job so she could steal a safe for main guy, but she is too strong and independent so she punches the guy in the crotch instead, then sets him up and calls the police.
Father tries to get his 15 year old daughter to cover up because men were whistling at her (LOL men only catcall in Hollywood never the real world) and the daughter says, and I quote, "It's 2017 dad. Slut shaming is not okay."
The young son is suspected of murdering animals but is actually feeding vultures already dead prey because he loves animals. This subplot came out of nowhere.
Sister hears parents talking about how their troubled son could end up a school shooter if he's murdering animals. There is a weird scene where she grins but it could be that she was trying to cry and the actress just sucks at it. Next morning at breakfast she publicly accuses them of being bad parents for privately discussing if their son is mentally disturbed like those kids who shoot up schools (it's the mother who brings this up, but this is forgotten because both are guilty). After getting the attention she craves by shaming her entire family and pretending she is morally superior to them because she would never accuse her baby brother of growing up to become a school shooter, she victoriously saunters off to find someone else to get attention from. Son is offended his parents think he's "weird" and says he shouldn't respect them because they have been lying to him his whole life (WTF? How?). Parents are left suitably ashamed for worrying about their children's mental development.
In one scene wife starts to see dead animals on their yard, makes the wrong assumption about who did it, takes the dead animal to their low class trashy neighbors trailer and throwing the rotting carcass at their sons. She caps off her strong independent moment by threatening two underage boys that if they ever come near her again she will kill them. The only regret she expresses is after she finds out her son is the one leaving dead animals, and she worries those innocent neighbors are going to think she's insane.

Turned it off after that. I couldn't take the bullshit anymore.
