So a very decent coworker guy I work with, makes decent bank per year around $70k -$80k , one year ago he buys a nice sports car, great right? Now not exactly an alpha hence the splurge but decent dude nonetheless ( I’m like good for him, he earned it).

Now our shifts don’t always sync up. It’s been several months or so since we connected. This morning I run into him in the parking lot, and I generally inquire how the new ride works and if it’s dope and shit right....

HE SAYS: “Oh no I traded the sport car for this truck, my girlfriends got a couple kids from her previous marriage plus she is pregnant with one of my own,that’s the only way to fit them all in one vehicle,” he says with a triumphant smile on his face.

Bam!! Just like that guy has full blown “family” delivered ready made and $$$ out the door

I smile and encourage him, but deep down inside as I walk away I am shattered because I am like WTF??!! I feel bad because honestly how do I even begin to tell this guy to open his eyes....?
