A team of US researchers led by Lara Stemple at the UCLA School of Law has analysed data from several large federal crime victimisation surveys and they say their findings show that sexual offences by women against male and female victims are surprisingly common.

Most recently, a 2014 study of 284 men and boys in college found that 43 reported having been sexually coerced, mostly unwanted sexual intercourse, with 95 per cent of the perpetrators reported as being female.

Finally, the "Culture of denial" about female sexual offending means that most female offenders are not convicted, and when they are, they receive lighter sentences, Stemple and her colleagues said.

Note that this is people who feel that they have been forced in to having sex; ~~two~~ three things of note about that:

Women have a KNOWN tendency to falsely claim to be "victims" -- ergo the number of women who "feel" they were "forced" is likely exaggerated in an expansive fashion.
Conversely, men are typically reticent to admit (even to themselves, much less others) that they have been (or even could be) "forced" -- just in general (by anyone), but particularly by women -- ergo the numbers of men who make this claim, who state they "feel" they were forced... is probably significantly UNDERstated (perhaps less so in a survey of this nature, but even still).
Finally, note also that this is only about those who feel they have been forced -- not simply "pressured"* (or manipulated, or "coerced" via other {non forcible} threats) against their better judgement -- but only those who felt FORCED to engage in sex.

* And IMPE as well as observation and things I've heard from others, women frequently engage in a whole RANGE of "pressure" tactics... all of which are well short of physical "force" -- but which are arguably a form of "sexual offending" nonetheless. The fact that the man may have been "aroused" (given the ease of which that can be achieved, even when NOT wanted), does not mean that the activity was truly DESIRED or "consented" to in the positive sense of the word (it may have been "consent" under one or more forms of duress/pressure -- anything from the "Don't you LOVE me?" to the "I want a baby!!!!" and so on...).
