So as a young guy my auto insurance rate isn't cheap and for whatever reason unknown to me on my last doctor visit they listed and changed my gender to female on my medical record.

This led me to asking on r/legaladvice if I could legally get cheaper auto insurance this way and they removed it as trolling. I don't understand why because frankly I am very interested in saving money on my auto insurance and if I could legally do this I would because it really is expensive.

I personally don't believe in gender being subjective, but if the government/society believes it I don't get why I shouldn't be able to identity this way for the sake of getting fairly treated on this matter.
