However the men are not rushing back to Traditionalism at all. Because we understand that Traditionalism is not the old 1950s hairstyle/hair color, "home girl" attitude, kitchen aprons, new vocabulary and change of one's wardrobe. It is the traditional laws above all. In other words: no abortion, no no-fault divorce, no marital rape, no police kicking the men out of their houses and throwing them to jail at the request of the women, no divorce-rape, no female job quotas in the fields they do not belong, no full custody of children for females by default, no fucked up family "courts" etc. This list can go on almost indefinitely. "Going back to traditionalism" for women simply means in exchange for a small degree of symbolic deferral of authority to the man they are with, they get to just sit back and live life as a parasite on his back.

They've chosen to drop the facade that they want to be "equals" in a relationship in order to recapture the free ride in life that is becoming increasingly difficult to secure from men.

They want a stand in for their parents when they were children for the duration of their adult lives, and the only concession they are making to secure it doesn't actually cost them anything (except perhaps a little dignity, though they mitigate that with the "Captain"/"First Mate" analogy), and can be revoked at any time.
