Long-time reddit lurker here. With some folks bummed about the dip, thought I would post an entertaining email just received from my old, but charming aunt. A little backstory, my dad passed away about 6 months ago. Which has been very difficult, but he would have laughed so much at this. Pay particular attention to the last two sentences. I’m so tempted to send a search party over to his house to find the loose “BitCoin”. :). See below:
“Some time in the last few years, during a visit to his house, he showed me a BitCoin. Said someone had given it to him as payment for something or another and did I know anything about it? Neither of us did at that time as it will not that well known, and obviously not worth a whole lot back then. Then in the last year or two he said he was thinking of buying some bitcoin but I never heard if he did or not. I wonder what ever happened to that BitCoin? Knowing how he always had loose change laying around, it may have been rolled into some quarters or something. Don’t suppose Dani has found it in the house somewhere?”
