Intro
Are problems inevitable, random, and “only relative” or is there truth underlying the apparent chaos of every-day life? Can we recognize patterns and formulate theories that help us achieve ever-increasing levels of strength, wisdom, and joy or are we bound to settle for a life of mere comfort and sense pleasure? I think we absolutely can figure this shit out, but not without first possessing knowledge of Natural Law.
Some Background
Like almost everyone in this day and age, I cringed at the idea of “objective truth” while growing up. The idea of Natural Law reminded me of priests forcing fearful and outdated dogma on gullible people. Like millions of Americans, I was excited to go to College precisely because I heard there were no rules there – or very few – and therefore, I assumed, I would finally have complete freedom to direct my life as I saw fit.
And yet a couple years into college, I found myself feeling empty. I had done the whole “classic college experience” – the girls, the parties, the interesting classes, the internships – and compiled a respectable resume along the way. I still wasn’t happy. And not only that: but I increasingly found myself at odds with the prevailing campus culture of liberal extremism and “Social Justice for all (except white men.)” Being a History major, many of my classes would descend into “here’s another thing white people did wrong,” which confused me because I thought of College as nearly synonymous with America. If the campus lifestyle – filled with ego gratification from the social scene, carnal pleasure from the partying, and a lax and permissive attitude about work and morality – wasn’t actually fulfilling, then I knew I was in for a big change. I would have to rebuild my worldview from the bottom-up.
This process proved exceedingly difficult, because my morals (and even sense of reality) from a young age had been debased. I’m not saying I was a criminal or any thing; in fact, I was quite normal (maybe even too nice.)
However, like many of today's youth, the idea of objective “right and wrong” had been washed from my brain – replaced with a sense that most things “depend on how you look at them.” (Hint: if you were an emperor, wouldn’t it be beneficial to insert these beliefs into your subjects?)
Brainwashing to Subvert Natural Law
There is planned liberal indoctrination going on in our schools and media right now. The way it works is they train you to focus on your feelings (i.e. felt-experience, thoughts, desires, impulses, ego-drives, dreams) instead of facts and objective truth. So instead of looking outwards at the “real world” for information about how we should conduct ourselves, we look inwards (to the highly subjective) field of thoughts and wishes.
For example, Men should love Women “from above.” To back up this claim, we at the Red Pill extensively cite history, science, and real-world experience. Even if our theories sound “controversial” to the uninitiated, the fact of the matter is they work and accurately predict reality. It may be politically incorrect to say that women prefer Alpha males, but if you take on a regimen of self-improvement, get in shape, and achieve higher-status in school or your career then you will attract more attention from the ladies. This works every. single. time.
When a young person these days hears “loving from above” or “Men should be Alpha” they are immediately triggered. They think: “Hey! That’s not fair. The power isn’t equitably distributed in that relationship and it’s therefore immoral.” The idea that “everyone should be equally powerful” is a felt-need. This idle dream has no basis anywhere in nature, or at any time in human history. Show me an ecosystem where the animals all live together in peace. Or one time in history where humans achieved something like a Communist-utopia. It’s just ridiculous – equal power for all is not how the world works. But, you see, a subset of the population has a problem with this fact. They don’t like Natural Law, and therefore rebel against it and encourage others to do the same.
A note about men and women. Men do have the power, but that doesn’t make them inherently better than women. Like the yin and yang, the genders represent two opposite poles that are equally important. Who says life is only about getting power? If that were true, life would be rigidly hierarchical and oppressive – a Nazi like dystopia. No, Natural Law teaches balance – there is a place for Masculine firmness and Feminine nurturing. Both are needed in strong societies. Also, isn’t equality actually oppressive? Doesn’t it cause us all to regress to the mean, instead of embracing our individual gifts and self-actualizing?
The Truth
Life is a bit like a video game.
In video games there are definite rules, time-requirements, and objectives. Of course Gamers don’t see these “laws” as oppressive; in fact, they are precisely what makes gaming fun. There would be no strategy or skill without rules. Imagine if you sat down to play Mario Kart and there was no time limit, no winners or losers, no defined course, and no higher-level tracks to unlock. The game would be reduced to driving around a never ending plane, and would obviously not be very popular (though, everyone would be “equal” while playing it!)
The same holds true in life. There are rules and laws that we should play by. Again, it’s to our benefit to discover these Laws, since they allow us to continually “level up” and play the Game at a higher level. They aren’t oppressive or mean-spirited or anything like you are brainwashed to believe. In the field of sexual relationships, some Laws that hold true are:
-Men should love “from above” (i.e. stick to a Captain-first mate dynamic)
-20% of men hook up with 80% of women
-Women will seek to bond with high-status mates (hypergamy)
-Women are the gatekeepers of sex, and therefore have the power to confer social validation on young men (less true as you get older)
Mastery of these and other Laws will lead to increased success with women. This is not cheesy pick-up artist type of stuff, it’s actually quite healthy for everyone to know these rules. It gives you a much better chance of finding a fulfilling relationship some day.
Natural Law: The Next Level
There are many rules to learn about sexual dynamics, but once they are mastered you can move onto the next level of life. This is when things get really interesting. Indeed, until you have knowledge of good and evil, you are not a Man. You remain in perpetual adolescence – a boy with the same impulses he had at 16 years old who nonetheless resides in an adult’s body. A ghost.
Good is that which leads to life, and Evil is that which leads to Death (hence, EVIL being “LIVE” spelled backwards.) I am not a Christian, but the Bible has a way of elegantly describing Natural Law. In Matthew 7:13 we read:
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
It can be very difficult to determine what leads to Life. Social conditioning, peer pressure, parental expectations, ignorance, illusions, media narratives, government propaganda, etc. all can influence our understanding of reality in negative ways. Furthermore, many activities that feel good (for example, drugs and alcohol) actually lead to Death in the long run.
To see through the aforementioned illusions, you need to development discernment. You should strive to acquire an intuitive feel for Good and Evil. What characteristics are commonly found on either side of the spectrum? You’ll start to notice that, all throughout history, the same forms of evil repeat themselves:
-On the society-level, a dominant elite that rules over dumbed-down masses (i.e. a pyramid of power, or the ‘master-slave dynamic’)
-Materialism (evil political systems like Communism are entirely based on this concept)
-Rebellion against Natural Law (Satanists invert symbols of Good, purposefully engage in perverted behavior, etc.)
-Pleasure sources that are egoic and mostly illusory in nature (drugs, porn, fame)
-“Ends justify the means,” “Progress," and other rationalizations for deviant behavior
-Double-talk (Stalin talking about a “brotherhood of workers” while systemically slaughtering Soviet peasants for decades)
-Conformity (think of those Nazi rallies where hundreds of thousands of men are dressed the exact same)
-Gang like behavior
-Irrationality, acting on impulse, not realizing you can figure this shit out
What all these forms of evil have in common is an attachment to the material plane. Material forms are limited, so obsessing over them always leads to intense competition and destruction. Now, I am not saying to renounce all the good things in life here – it’s very possible to go too far the other way, and up like one of those Opus Dei wackos who whip themselves as punishment for having a body. Rather, I’m suggesting you develop a very rational and grounded worldview that allows you to see Evil for what it is, and to simply not fall for it’s trap.
Conclusion
There is Reason behind everything that happens in the Universe. Through deep introspection, you will start to notice reoccurring patterns and thus gain knowledge about how the world really works. This knowledge gives you the power to live a spirited and fulfilling life, but be forewarned – the path is not for the faint of heart.
