Dr. Jordan Peterson has gotten a lot of bad rep among us MGTOW's cause of the 'pathetic weasels' comment, even though he retracted it later. But he do have pretty good understanding of hypergamy, though he doesn't understand it to be that, or is unwilling to follow it to its final conclusion (that you should go your own way). He calls it the dominance hierarchy. Simply put, men compete in dominance hierarchies, and women pick their mates from that hierarchy, choosing equal or (usually) above their own level. That's his understanding of it; but he seems to have come to the conclusion that once a woman chooses a mate, that instinct/ attraction to a male higher up in the dominance structure is turned off and she and her mate lives happily everafter, which simply put, is irrational and stupid. Instincts don't turn off just like that. Imagine this- you like cake, and you acquired a piece of cake that you like, you ate it and it felt good. Now, if you see another piece of cake, just as good, or better, are you not gonna consider eating that too? Women are picky, but they are not one-time pickers (clearly). That, my friends, is what we refer to as hypergamy. It's not the act of monkey-branching to another man, but the instinctive drive behind it, that's rooted in biology, which can only be kept in check by social pressures like shame, societal disapproval, or chastisation.
The current society positively reinforces the worst aspects of female nature: they don't have to take responsibility for their actions, they are given rights they did not earn, they are praised for whoring themselves out, the list goes on and on. And as a result, we now have generations of women who are the worst versions of their human potentials. They are not good people. Their beauty is only skin-deep and underneath that, lies venom and vitriol.
Never doubt going your own way. You did the right thing. You are walking away from filth.
