A common topic on this sub is the belief of a "Western Decline". I am genuinely interested in this topic. Users would describe a sort of dystopian future society with guesses on what would be considered the 'norm' in the years ahead.

Do you think that as marriages continue to plummet, divorces continue to increase, and single motherhood becomes the norm, will big daddy Government come in with another lifeline to keep the system afloat? Some have suggested some kind of bachelor tax.

Do you think a civil war is inevitable? If and when that happens, do you go lone wolf or form some kind of community army? If divide and conquer was ever a threat, now is pretty much the time. Most of society I feel is in complete disarray as is, what more when a financial/social breakdown occurs. I'm even seeing "preppers guide" threads here and there and now I'm even thinking about making a bug out bag and taking up survivalist skills in the event this circus of a society falls apart.

How do you envision America in 5-10 years from now? How fast is this system going to come to a halt, and if and when it does, how brutal will this civil war be if you had to make a guess?
