1. Property. Women were allowed to own property. See 'femme sole' vs 'femme covert'.

  2. Voting. Many men were drafted and sent to their deaths by leaders they didn't elect. Not true of women. Also in the UK for example, it was only a few decades before female suffrage that most men got the vote. Also women were among the most vociferous opponents of female suffrage.

  3. Tone. The first and second waves were very misandric in tone. See the white feather campaign, Valerie Solanas, lesbian separatism, etc.

  4. Reproductive rights. Whether you support or oppose abortion, back when abortion was illegal the sexes were equal in that regard. Now a woman can disclaim parental responsibility, while a man cannot. As for the pill, a man invented that.
