"The crash was at a little after 11 p.m. Saturday on the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway approaching the Slauson Avenue exit in Bell Gardens.

A woman driving a 2017 Hyundai sedan suddenly changed lanes from the number two lane to the Slauson Avenue offramp in an attempt to exit the freeway and subsequently struck the motorcyclist.

The impact caused the rider to be thrown from his bike. Paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries."

My only question is, how was she not arrested? Anyone ever ride a motorcycle? anyone ever drive a car while a Harley is roaring away within a mile? How the fuck did she not know his location just by hearing alone!?

This is why I don't ride anymore, I can't imagine the feeling my family might have should I die due to wanton negligence and justice is nowhere to be found.

When I was in college four of us went to a concert in the city. We drank a good bit. On the way back to school, still inside the city, we got stopped. Driving us was a willowy blond in her car. She was driving the wrong way on a one-way street, didn't have her headlights on, didn't have a valid driver license, and was drunk... she started to cry and the cop to her to drive us back to the school, no ticket, no citation. If I had been driving it would have been a night in jail, loss of license and community service plus a fine...
