If you don't reproduce will humanity miss you in any way (personally, genetically?) No. You have no unique genetic code and sperm is not in short supply. If humanity were down to a few hundred people it would be a different story but we are not. There is no genetic or otherwise compelling reason to reproduce. To pass on your genes is a lousy reason to occupy a uterus, re stick yours in there or someone else will. It really makes no difference who occupies her uterus. However, committing to being a father and being one can dramatically change your life. That can be a worthwhile experience and a contribution to humanity that means more than just a droplet of genes.

You're basically saying, its all a plan for people not to take the city bus, by people that have zero interest in taking the bus in the first place.

No one cares. Feel free to marry all the girls you want. MGTOW doesn't particularly want to.

Not everyone's goal in life is to reproduce, and not everyone cares about their genes being passed on. That's some tradcon concern.

Convince me why I should continue my genes? "Everlasting life" is some religious ideal that doesn't work for everyone.
