Important Background info: Lurker here, been following some stuff I've read here. I've never had to deal with women much and never thought it would happen to me. I study at college and as part of college there is group work now in my course whenever group work is done the group as a whole is given a mark based on their team submission now to make it 'fair' we all must assess our group members and give them a 'contribution rating' a rating on how much they contributed to the project. Now this score is used to used to alter the final score per person, example, if the group score is 80/100 and you give them a 100% contribution rating they get on thier individual report 80/100, if however they get a contribution rating of say 120% they get 96/100 on their report or likewise if they get lower like 80% they get 64 on their individual report. Now you give everyone (including yourself) a rating and the sum of the ratings should be equal to 100% each eg, if there are 2 people and you give someone 80% you must give the other person 120% so the total is 200% in a group of 2 people. 300% for 3 people, so on, so on. now when you give these ratings they are averaged out, say you give someone 80%, yourself 120% but the the other guy gives himself and you 100% then his own score would be 90% whereas yours would be 110%.

What happened:

This obviously works better in larger groups and in an ideal world where everyone gives each other truthful honest ratings its very fair, however this world is not fair. I've only ever had work with men before and we've all either just gone and given everyone 100% for the contribution rating, or gone and said we would give 100% to each person, This is what I usually do, if someone is clearly slacking (not that common) I might give a slightly lower mark (like 90%, I never go below that). Never any problems. Now I had a new group recently, 4 people, 2 men including myself and 2 women. Now the women got to work straight away organizing everything and delegating out the work and rearranging out the tasks if we didn't like what we had. At first I thought, oh maybe the MGTOW folks are wrong? I'll see how this goes. We complete project #1 for this course, it all gets done on time, the work division among the group was fair and the mark is decent, I think ok, maybe these MGTOW folk just work with terrible women. But here is where it gets dodgy it just has to be ruined right? When I got my personal mark it was much lower than the group score, I asked the other guy what he got, similar, his marks were fucked. I gave everyone 100%, he told me he did too. So I knew exactly what was going on at this moment, women agreed to bump each other up at the expense of us. They must have put our scores WAY down (like they rated us 50% contribution) since it was an average and I was give a score way lower than the group mark.

We have 2 more projects man I am not sure what to do about this. Readjust the contribution scores i give out next for the future in myself and the other guys favor or take it up with someone with authority. Not sure if I should tell the other guy either or the women or just give out my scores quietly.

EDIT: I should have used what I learn't about game theory last year but out of good conscience I just can't fuck people over until they give me reason to.
