A shit test is when a man or a woman tries to test your boundaries to see where you fit in the pecking order. Females often ask men to get stuff to them that they themselves should be able to get for "no particular reason". If the mans behaivor pattern is to get that thing for her most of the time, then he will fail the shit test as she will view herself as superior to the man. This is what happens eventually in alot of marriages.. At it's core, a shit test is a way of verifying ones subconscious/conscious notions about someone. In the case of females they have an image of what kind of protector you'd be but since our society rarely has a need for it they often have to revert to testing to make sure they are 'correct' in their assumption.
