The world's been multi-cultural for centuries and a lot of strife and war came from it.

War and violence has been on a constant downward trend the past few centuries, I would argue this is in part because countries (like within Europe for example) have become so mixed that the population does not want to go to war with another country in which they share a cultural heritage.

I just don't see how this would work, realistically speaking. Would you go down New York City and tell all the Italian-Americans they need to live in this neighborhood, all the German-Americans they need to live in that neighborhood, all the Irish-Americans they need to live in this other neighborhood? How would you even determine someone's ethnicity, given that most people's family history is a melting pot?

It seems to me that this philosophy boils down to, send the black people back there, send the brown people over there, and keep the white people here. It's not based on ethnicity it's based on skin color.
