This is my rant of the day. How many times do guys need to google "How to be interesting to women" ?

I'm sure the same guys have never once needed to google how to be interesting in general.

I've recently been having lunch with a guy who just started working at our company. Being the new guy, I kind of took him under my wing, and showed him some of the spots we like to eat.

We use this time to talk about varied subjects. And it is impossible to be bored because there's a lot to talk about. Anything from Vikings, to WW2, to colonizing space, or social issues facing humanity, anything goes. I have yet to touch on a topic he cannot offer insight too, and keep up with the conversation.

Same cannot be said about any women I've known. Perhaps my sister being the exception. But typically on dates or when having lunch with female coworkers (on the rare exception), they tend to focus on meta bullshit, and not the meat of a conversation. Often I end up with her leaning on one one hand - the familiar body language for "I'm bored".

My point is - I'm fucking tired of having to jump through hoops to generate interest. Sure I can, that's not the point.

If they claim they're equal, and as intelligent, then why do they seem so bored in very 101 typical discussions? Why is it socially acceptable for them to kind of give you this "Stop being a nerd" vibe, whenever the discussion isn't about bullshit.

I've actually met women who don't have a basic grasp of physics. I'm perplexed they even passed school. One woman I met did not understand for example how electricity worked, or how the tides are a product of the moons gravity, yet in her mind she was incredibly smart.

I don't think I've ever pushed back, and when I see that bored vibe coming on, I always steer it away. But maybe it's time to also push back a bit and make statements like "You have no interest in anything", etc. To show them up a bit for being airheads rather than them putting this back on us as being boring nerds, etc.

Like it's become a bad thing to be intellectual and have opinions on things or well thought out arguments. Only met with zero interest because it's over her head. Yet you're inferior because you don't get her.

So I'm saying if you're out there, assert yourself a bit. If she's bored or disinterested in basic shit, call her out on it, see what response you get. New territory. I'm sure she'll have new found respect for you.
