I recently heard that there may be a live action adaptation of "Kim Possible" and when I heard that I thought, "Oh, that's cool, the kids will love that, I remember she was pretty popular back in the day."

So why did I react positively to the news of a live action Kim Possible movie? Because it's an original character from a series that became popular due to its own merits.

What it isn't is taking a male character and replacing it with a female character cause "muh feminisms" or any of that bullshit.

If that Kim Possible movie ever comes out, I hope it's made well and that the audience who enjoys it gets a really good movie to experience.

But this kind of shit? Female James Bond? Fuck right off.

Yea but she's not in charge of the IP and if she was she would probably be saying a few different things. Afterall her husband is making money off playing Bond, so she would get nothing if the studios changed their mind and decided to make the 25th movie a female bond. She wants that cash.

When was the last time you saw a woman buying a Harley Davidson to travel the countryside and enjoy life? Yeah.... that is what i thought! There's nothing stopping them from setting it in the same universe.

Bond is 007, they could make cunt 006 or something (same with a 'black' Bond).

For what it's worth I've seen a few great female role models. Granted they are all fictional, but still. They should do with women what they did with Blade. Build on an already strong minority character and earn recognition through this, rather than "equality."
