Even if this were true (which we can't confirm due to correlation or causation), you know the old saying: it's better to die on your feet than to live on your knees. I'd rather kick the bucket freely at fifty, than live till a hundred under marriage and all its drawbacks.

Who cares? Also, Women live longer than men because they get more healthcare and work less physically intense jobs, so in theory, if we all turn into Soy-Boys we'll live ten years longer!

But, I say "NYET" to being a soy-boy, and I am NOT afraid of death.

A major survey of 127,545 American adults found that married men are healthier than men who were never married or whose marriages ended in divorce or widowhood. Men who have marital partners also live longer than men without spouses; men who marry after age 25 get more protection than those who tie the knot at a younger age, and the longer a man stays married, the greater his survival advantage over his unmarried peers. But is marriage itself responsible for better health and longer life?

I'm 65, twice divorced and likely to be unmarried the rest of my life. IMO, that's not a good thing.
