Notice how they use the term "raping" instead of terms like "criminal possession of a weapon", "menacing", "assault", etc which are actually what happened in the case.

"Once inside the car, police say Jackson pulled out a knife and held it to the male driver’s throat, while Carter performed a sex act on him.

Police said the pair then stole $32 from the victim before fleeing the scene."

And they have to call this rape and shame the taxi driver and not actual criminal law terms that describe this case? If the role is reversed, we'll see actual criminal terms that makes sense like "man was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing, etc etc". How is this equality among genders.
