Anyone who thinks there will ever be such a thing as a self driving car has obviously never owned a printer. And now you want me to believe that they could make a robot I could fuck without feeling like a prize banana. The damn thing would sound like a cordless drill and smell like a tyre. It would also most probably have a flat battery any time I wanted to use it. That or I'd have forgotten the password. Setting all reason aside and imagining that mankind could build a robot that could pass as a human, i highly doubt that even the Chinese could build one for under $1,000 which is my ceiling for expenditure on toys and gadgets. Even if you could overcome all of those reality based objections to the proposal, I'm not convinced that a sex robot would be the best application for the technology. I'd pay for a robot that could make itself useful around the house even if it looked nothing like a human. The additional functionality of looking like a young woman and being fuckable wouldn't be worth two cents to me because I already have a right hand.
