I really don't fit with either political party.

I must admit that things seem FAR more annoying than ever before. Everyone thinks they are a genius because they believe their opposition is consuming "fake news" and their news is the only 100% unbiased truth.

Imo, people tend to gravitate towards their respective echo chambers which feed them a circle-jerk of information that agrees with them. This is what the world has become and those in power did this on purpose. It's extremely rare nowadays to find people that will consider information that disagrees with their beliefs.

I honestly believe wealth inequality is a problem in the U.S. and is a detriment to society. Middle-class workers simply don't get paid enough. CEOs, execs, and other "elite" are gobbling up all the wealth. The exact causes are up for debate and argument, but the data shows that since 1970, productivity has increased, but real income for middle-class workers has not. The people in power are getting the vast majority of the new wealth generated.

Neither the Left or Right even bothers to address this issue because they are both backed by the elite. The Republicans smoke and mirror everyone with lies of "job creators" and more bullshit trickle-down economics type stuff. The Democrats claim to care, but do nothing about it. They focus the majority of their politics on worthless garbage like feminism, social justice, and cater to identity politics.

Most people have no idea what's going on: it's all about divide and conquer.
