I felt like you guys would be the only ones I could speak to without everyone bashing me for not wanting to be near women on my time off.

I work with women everyday, I am the only nurse in a large pediatric primary care office (beginning to get to me being the only guy there, but I almost have enough experience there to get a new job elsewhere).

I just don't want to have to censor myself more and be the "nurse" on my vacation. Is that wrong to ask for? I'd be fine meeting his guy friends and hanging out, but I just want nothing to do with women outside of my professional life anymore.

My brother is very liberal and volunteers for women oriented/helping organizations. He got me the book, "Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman" for Christmas to give you an idea of the person he is.

I'm fine with wasting the $230 I spent on a non-refundable ticket, but I have no idea on how to broach this subject. Should I just lie and say I'm ill closer to the flight? Please help.
