Hachi: A Dog's Tale
 
I saw this movie last night. Here's a basic synopsis. Man (Richard Gere) finds a lost puppy (later named Hachi) at train station. Man takes puppy home because no one is claiming the puppy. Wife (Joan Allen) freaks at puppy. She hates the thing. Man convinces his wife to keep puppy for a day or two until rightful owner claims puppy. But no one really does. Man and Hatchi get attached. Man keeps Hachi.  
Every work day, man and Hachi walk to train station. Man goes to work, Hachi goes home and waits for man to come home. When Hachi hears train in the evening, he greets man at the train station. This goes on for years.

One day man goes to work, has a heart attack, and dies. Hachi keeps going back to the train station for 10 years waiting for man to come home.
 
Movie shows how a dog is a man's best and most loyal friend. I fucking cried at the end. Go watch it.
