Hi guys, i don't want to discuss if abortion is morally wrong or right, if it's homicide or not (i use homicide instead of murder because saying it's murder is a dead end).

I want to focus on the particular basic point of this issue. Is the fetus a person or not? Progressives says it's not, pro lifers say it is.

But discussing this, from progressives side, is just retarded. Why was abort legalized in the first place so long ago? (In italy where i live like between 1930 and 1950 if i recall correctly)

because women used to try to abort anyway, at home, with dangerous methods for their own life.

So WOMEN WERE ABORTING EVEN WHEN FOR SOCIETY AND EVERYONE the "thing" in their belly was considered as a person back then. They did it anyway. And i bet those women thought the baby was a human being, a person, too.

So even if science tomorrow comes out and says "we have absolute proofs that at day 1 the thing is the mom's belly is a person 100%" women will still want the abortion to stay legal.

I repeat i dont want to discuss if it should be legal or illegal even in that case, just to underlying how delusional women are when they say "im pro choice because that thing is just a bunch of cell" NO FUCK YOU. you will kill that thing regardless, even if it could compose the ninth simpony of beethoven.

Now i think even if it's immoral you could do it, i mean we let millions of people die in third world country and everyone leftists included are ok with that for our convenience so meh.

but admitting this as society would imply the following statement: killing a person for social convenience (bla bla the baby would become a criminal so we should abort if the mom has low income bla bla) it's ok and should be legal. So this include killing homeless people, immigrants and criminals right? And the leftits CANNOT let this implication becoming clear to everyone. So they consider the fetus as not a person, while they would abort it regardless
