I always had the idea that music was, undoubtedly, one of the best wonders that this world could provide us. It's ability to transport us into different epochs, selves and places that we can't go otherwise..

However 6/7 days ago, something interesting happened. During a whole day, I listened to a song (which consisted of 2 cycles of 15 seconds) for a whole day!

Result: I felt extremely dizzy and could barely walk straight. I felt like falling to the left side. My eyesight was a little turve and misty.

Well, I decided that not knowing the causes, I should try to reduce exposure to many things, as to solve this as fast. I tried, therefore, to eliminate music for now, at least.

Well, well, now past the Earworm phase I definitely have something to share.

These are personal results: - Decreased sensitivity. - New way of perceiving objects, in a visual sense. - Decrease in mental confusion and erratic thought. This was MASSIVE, I could barely keep an uninterrupted sequence of thoughts. - Decreased emotional swings (ups and downs).

I also started hearing my voice in my head a lot more, which was likely ommited by the earwoms.

I believe that music that is not an end in itself can be useful for achieving certain goals, if an Action follows. But beware oif over-exposure to it and enjoying the art for art's sake as it might be not so beneficial as I previously thought.
