First time posting. I apoligize if my post seems crude, badly presented.

I was bored today and googled misogny just for the fun of it, I came to this page written by a women, a professor of philosophy no less. It describes 12 ways to spot a misogynist. I decided for the fun of it to switch the word man and women, so everytime it said women I would switch in man and everytime it said man, i wrote in women.

Analyzing it, I quickly came to realize most women have done this to me or I have had a friend a women did this to. I'll just show what I found and did. I will also add the link of the article in the bottom. Also number 9 is kind of all over the place, but it hint at the powerplay that someone women expect you to pay for dinner, while others are offended by it.

The following traits are typical of the misogynist:

  1. He She will zero in on a woman man and choose her him as his her target. Her His natural defenses may be down because he’s she's flirtatious, exciting, fun, and charismatic at first.

  2. As time goes on, he she begins to reveal a Jekyll & Hyde personality. He she may change quickly from irresistible to rude, and from rude back to irresistible.

  3. He She will make promises to women men and often fail to keep them. With men women, on the other hand, he she will almost always keep his her word.

  4. He She will be late for appointments and dates with women men, but be quite punctual with men women.

  5. His Her behavior toward women men in general is grandiose, cocky, controlling, and self-centered.

  6. He She is extremely competitive, especially with women men. If a woman man does better than him her socially or professionally, he she feels terrible. If a man women does better, he she may have mixed feelings about it but he she is able to look at the situation objectively.

  7. He She will unknowingly treat women men differently from men women in workplace and social settings, allowing men women various liberties for which he she will criticize female male colleagues or friends.

  8. He She will be prepared (unconsciously) to use anything within his her power to make women men feel miserable. He She may demand sex or withhold sex in his her relationships, make jokes about women men or put them down in public, “borrow” their ideas in professional contexts without giving them credit, or borrow money from them without paying them back.

  9. On a date, he she will treat a woman man the opposite of how she he prefers. If she he is an old-style lady man who prefers a "gentleman" "lady" who holds the door for her him, orders for both and pays for the meal, he she will treat her him like one of his ~~her ~~male female buddies, order for himself herself, and let her him pay for the whole meal if she he offers (and sometimes even if she he doesn’t). If she he is a more independent type who prefers to order her his own meal and pay for herself himself, he she will rudely order for both and pay the check while she he goes to the bathroom.

  10. Sexually, he she likes to control women men and gives little or no attention to their sexual pleasure. Foreplay, if it occurs at all, is only a necessary means to an end. He she likes oral sex but only as a recipient. His her favorite positions enable him her to avoid looking the woman man in her his eyes.

  11. He she will cheat on women men he she is dating or in a relationship with. Monogamy is the last thing he she feels he she owes a woman man.

  12. He She may suddenly disappear from a relationship without ending it, but may come back three months later with an explanation designed to lure the woman man back in.
