We're MGTOW. We do whatever the fuck we feel like with our resources, time, and logic. We have all these in abundance.
Enjoy whatever your favorite '-ism' and '-archy' is.

If by Patriarchy you mean a society where men have to be slaves/soldiers/ and destroy themselves so they can promote the sitting parasite that is expected to do nothing, it's spending it's days manipulating men for its own interest ,gossiping, and is being idolised, for the sake of being a parasite, no

Then what kind of system would you support? Or are you against reproduction and civilization in general?
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not really interested in a system that specifically has "gender roles". I'm not interested in being part of society or reproducing, but if others want to, I don't give a shit, unless they have ridiculous low IQ rates and specific kinds of mental illnesses.
[–]huge_ox0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
Not against reproduction as I have 2 children and a partner (for ease, we'll say wife...were not married but yeah). This is my journey though. My wife knows I am an independent spirit. She works, but I don't (not through choice but disability). However when I was working, we pooled resources to pay bills, to pay for children's needs and requirements, and then we evenly split the remaining (we earned roughly the same at that point). I did as I chose, she did as she chose.
Later when I outearned her by a factor if 4, we still pooled resources and split money, but I took 4x the amount she did. Because I earned it, not her. However in that situation I actually bumped up how much she had at the end of each month.
We both do housework, alternating weekly for dishes, laundry or whatever. I'd have to do it if I was alone so a rotation between us is fine. I also have the freedom to say to the wife that I was going out and she'd need to look after the kids, or vice versa. Its a parental duty and we didn't take the piss with it. If we both wanted to go out, we got a babysitter, rare but it happened.
Even now that I don't earn, I am still free to do whatever. I do my chores as I would if I were single, I look after my kids as a parent should, and I can go out when I choose. Whether it's an overnight impromptu camping trip with friends to a local woods, or its a afternoon at the rugby with my stepdad, it doesn't matter. She has the freedom too. First come first served for the day is pretty much the rule provided we don't abuse it and do it for weeks at a time.

How are you a MGTOW? It sounds like a normal relationship to me.
[–]huge_ox0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
Because I don't have to justify anything I do to my wife. I can (and have) gone on a whim to another country because I felt like it. In a normal relationship you can't do that, you'd be justifying everything.
Also she knows any bullshit she tries to pull like emotional blackmail won't work.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
I thought MGTOWs were against stable relationships in general.
[–]huge_ox0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
No. They're against manipulation and blackmail which have become the social norms in many relationships. Its toxic and I won't stand for that shit.
Relationships are had more on terms acceptable to men whilst still being good for the woman. It's not like a 50s relationship, because that revolves around a man giving his money away to fund his wife and his life, and many modern relationships are this way where his money is shared but her money is hers.
No. In my relationship, everything is divided 50/50 except our individual phone bills. All monies pooled is split in the ratio it's bought in. Currently it favours my wife, but it used to heavily favour me, and she was ok with that.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Umm, so you're not against relationships as long as they don't exploit you?
[–]huge_ox0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Wrong way to phrase it. So long as everything is treated equally.
[–]BeardedMgtoWv12 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
A married mgtow. Lol that's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
What would you say about a relationship where everything is not equal however, it is based on consent? Me and my boydfriend have a traditional relationship however it was deciced to be this way and nobody feels exploited. Is this anti-MGTOW?

What's a system?
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
A set of principles or procedures according to which something is done. In this case, we're talking about a societal system.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I would support a system where men and women are truly equal.
Where women get the same jail time for the same crimes.
Where women are 50% of coal miners and other blue collar jobs.
Where women pay their fair share of taxes and insurance based on what they consume.
Where 50% of college students are men.
Where 50% of scholarships are given to men.
Where men have the same prevledges as women.
I want pure equality. Not the lies the feminists try to sell.
[–]be-the-kiwi1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It definitely works for having a good society, but it usually costs the personal freedoms of men. We all eventually die so I make the best out of life; I choose freedom.

I would postulate that, in my opinion, inasmuch as being "against" something rarely (if ever) really accomplishes anything of real value, that we are therefore really not "against" anything. (Other than "against" being subject to the endless assfuckery and relentless attempts to mindfuck us that the female population is so well known for.)
For the umpteen millionth time, MGTOW is not a movement. It is a philosophy. And ironically, and perhaps frighteningly for the feminists and other members of the gynocentric population, that is why it has legs, and such staying power, over the long term. Because it uses something that is completely beyond the grasp of the modern female: common sense.
For my part, aside from just leaving me the fuck alone to do my own thing, I honestly do not give a single flying fuck what you, or anyone else, really does. Because really, we can only control ourselves and our own reactions to the environment, right? Not to get all zen and shit like that, but it's the truth. We cannot control anyone else, only ourselves, so it is pointless to even try.
Which begs the question, why the fuck are you trying to shame and control us? If we are such losers and low lifes as you claim, then why the fuck are you so hell bent and vested in coming into our little sphere of the internet here to try and fuck our shit up? If we are so terrible, then just leave us the fuck alone, and go play with (read: harass) someone else.
But the real underlying truth, that you will never admit, is that you really do not think we are losers at all, but rather, you feel afraid of us, and threatened by us, because you realize that we have real feelings and real concerns that have been altogether silenced and marginalized by the gynocracy for far too long, and we simply refuse to be controlled or "domesticated" by the female establishment any longer.

I didn't shame you, I asked a question.
[+][deleted] 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Chill out man, it is just a question.
[–]account41890 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
MGTOW isn't defined by what it supports. It's defined by what it's against - and that's certain types of relationships with women. There are MGTOW that advocate lots of different political, economic, and social modes of organization - but none of that is related directly to MGTOW.
That's why MGTOW isn't a movement, and it's not about societal change. It's about men walking away from women to various degrees. The rest of it is up to each man.
If you're trying to characterize MGTOW into something you recognize - you probably shouldn't bother.

Ok, so are you against traditional gender roles or how the heck you wish to call it?
[–]bonusfruit0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I personally am for transhumanism. Men and women paired up for necessity. We can barely stand eachother. The greatest thing about humans is that we can invent ourselves out of loathsome circumstances. Cybernetics, sexbots, automation, artificial wombs, vr, consciousness uploading. I'm for all that. Not archaic systems of coping with our base nature

Creeper. Must be phishing for quotes on a hit piece.
What do you mean?

Approximately 23,000 subs as of now and approximately 23,000 different answers to your question.
