I find it funny that so many women will band together to like anyone (i.e. woman) who posts the "Don't judge me by my past" slogan on social media when women are the most judgmental creature on the planet and they certainly judge men by their past.

This (terrible) love advice article which basically says judging women by their past will affect your future is part of that female campaign to shame men into accepting their fuck-ups. Of course the article is aimed at the good guys i.e. the potential financial supporters not the bad boys they ran around with in their prime years and got a kid or two from them.

Only a woman could write something so clueless and disingenuous. A man has to accept a woman without question as she is but a woman can be picky as much as she wants and if she doesn't like something she is encouraged by society to change it.

I actually believe people can change if they make the effort to do so. However, I'd believe a reformed man over a reformed woman because to change the man is more likely had to realize that a lot of his problems come from himself. He will work hard to change that and it won't happen overnight. And he will have to work hard to win people's trust back as people are less forgiving of a man who's fucked up than they are a woman.

A reformed woman though is more likely to blame everyone else but herself and she will have the support of other women, feminism, and the media in this belief. She will not work as much to change herself because she feels she is less to blame than the circumstances and of course the men who led her astray. A common tactic of a reformed woman is to just leave town and settle elsewhere hoping she can reinvent herself in the eyes of a new crowd. This rarely works because if she didn't focus on her own problems which led her down a dark path to begin with, her past habits will come slowly bubbling up again. Any poor fool who takes up with her is going to be in a world of misery as the cracks in her mask slowly and irreparably appear.

tl;dr: dumb advice article says don't judge women (despite them being overly-judgmental all the time) for their past because (shock!) you may view them unfavorably for having slept with 500 guys, having had STDs, having had a kid or two from different fathers, having been a junkie, etc...
