The top comment is legit to be fair:

Almost everyone thinks they're the hero/heroine of their own story. Every impediment and difficulty seems like a challenge. Something you'll overcome and be so much stronger because of, and the theme music swells then the credits roll.

After life beats you down a bit, you feel differently. Before then... These posters usually have less experience, and they're honestly trying to solve the puzzle in front of them. "It's not a puzzle, it's a dead end" doesn't even come up as an option yet.

I'm happy I've learned this lesson early.
