I am a film crew member; I run the Grip and electric departments and while we have mostly thwarted the onslaught of women attempting to infiltrate our craft ... the rigors have eliminated them on their own without much need for interference.

With that being said; women are taking over Camera departments (less labor than Lighting and more status) and all other departments for many years now.

I work on a long running show and I can tell you that the hashtag ‘pound me too’ movement and the pussy hats and everything else has been a boon to the industry and these victims simply are Not being hired anymore.

Most of this workforce is freelance so anyone can be chosen over anyone else for any reason. These idiots have gone out of their way to let the powers that be know that they are a problem in waiting.

Personally I never ever hire women as I need reliable workers who are strong and take ownership of everything they do.

I want to say that there’s nothing better than eliminating someone from the pool of eligible workers simply by logging onto FartBook (the only reason to have such a thing) and blacklisting these people forever.

This is happening to producers as well. This job is hard enough and those that make waves end up going the way of Vic Morrow.
