Looks like a good a reason to short xrp as ive seen. Also, one of my stupidest friends (engineer salary, still in debt, doesnt manage money properly at all) says he is trying to buy xrp.

Although I don't see why it's necessary for her to post selfies when talking about crypto and I'm not convinced she knows much of what she is talking about, the guy arguing her doesn't seem to know what he's talking about.

Ripple is not "centralized" or "premined" because the consensus algorithm doesn't involve mining at all and never did. He's basically just saying buzz words without actually understanding their meaning.

And he presents no argument for it "being very vulnerable to attack". Ripple as consistently stood as the 3rd largest crypto for YEARS and currently there is a $60 billion dollar prize (hyperbolic but you could definitely get hundreds of millions of dollars if you successfully gained control over the network) for anyone that can figure how to successfully attack the network. So far in the years it's been around it's never been hacked. So if this guy really thinks it's so vulnerable why doesn't he hack it? Or publish a paper? Or demand that Ripple hire him to fix it issues?

Answer: he doesn't know what he's talking about.
