Most divorced guys I know are MGTOW. They made that mistake once never again. And then there's the whinny bitch's that just need to have a woman in their lives. These are the guys that get divorced and are trying to get another wife 10 minutes after the papers are served.

I had a buddy like this he'd get dumped on Friday night and have a new girlfriend by Tuesday.

42% of people aren't married right now. Maybe some of those still want it, but it's probably a fair assumption 25-40% opted out. And that's not divided by age group, the younger you are (but still adult) the less likely you're married meaning newer generations are getting it more and more and it wouldn't surprise me if by 2020 a combination of older people dying off and younger people awakening means being single is the norm.

The top 20% males won't go mgtow (at least not in any significant capacity).

So women will just share them and call it their own cool, strong, independet mixup of polyamoury and islamic polygamy. The media will promote and celebrate it to attract those women as readers and give advertisers who sell stuff to them a platform.

This is a nightmare. Humans need humans, but if 25% to 40% of the male population insists on MGTOW, then they're going to do so anyway. Gynocentrism advancing all the way is also an unchecked and dangerous illusion for the simple reason that many societal and economic models are based according to your two-human nuclear family model. I'm not suggesting for a single instant that men should have to foot anyone else's economic bill. Certainly, women should continue to develop themselves, and yes, be responsible for their lives. What's globally problematic is oppression occurring by idle hands appearing on either side of the marital coin. Admittedly, I've met both men and women who stop their development shy of anything beyond High School, and this is a most unfortunate state. We are here to work/grow/& evolve, as oddly as this information reads, and one of the best ways to do that is through the human connection.
